SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024 for Prelims
The first stage of the SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024 is a preliminary exam. The prelims exam carries a total of 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks. SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024 for Mains
The second stage of the SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024 is the main exam. Candidates who are declared qualified in the prelims exam will be called to appear in the selection round such as the mains exam. The SBI Clerk main exam comprises 190 objective-type questions for 200 marks. There shall be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong response in the objective type exam.
Candidates must score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM aspirants, 5% relaxation will be given). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as determined by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are specified. Section-wise cut-off marks will not be maintained. SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024: Final Merit List
Candidates who are declared successful in prelims & mains exams and submit 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be considered for any Language test. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added to the SBI Clerk final merit list and only the aggregate marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase-II) will be considered for preparation of the final SBI Clerk merit list.
The provisional selection will be done based on the candidate’s performance in the main examination. The SBI Clerk’s final selection will be subject to verification of eligibility for the post and information submitted in the online application and qualifying in a test of the specified opted local language, where applicable.
