How to Download India Post GDS Result 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official GDS website at www.indiapost.gov.in or click on the regional links provided in the table above.

Step 2: On the homepage, click the “Result” link at the top of the page.

Step 3: Click on your respective GDS region, and you will be redirected to the regional website.

Step 4: Now, find the link to the GDS Result PDF and click on it.

Step 5: Enter your Date of Birth/Password.

Step 6: Click on the “Search” button. The India Post GDS result will be displayed on your screen. Be sure to print it out for reference at the examination centre.

India Post GDS 1st Merit List Download Link

The India Post GDS Merit List 2024 is based on the scores obtained in the 10th standard Secondary School Examination, converted from grades/points to marks and aggregated to a percentage accurate to four decimal places. For students whose mark sheets include both marks and grades/points for each subject, the total marks will be calculated using the ‘marks obtained. For candidates having only grades subject-wise marks will be calculated for each subject, by applying the multiplying factor of 9.5 in the following method:

What Next After India Post GDS Result 2024

Candidates whose names or roll numbers appear in the Gramin Dak Sevak results will be shortlisted for the document verification stage. They must bring the following documents in original, along with two sets of self-attested photocopies:

  1. Marksheet
  2. Identity proof
  3. Caste certificate
  4. PWD certificate
  5. EWS certificate
  6. Transgender certificate
  7. Proof of Date of Birth
  8. Medical certificate from a Government Hospital, Government Dispensary, or Government Primary Health Centre (compulsory)
  9. Certificate from the Competent Authority regarding knowledge of tribal/local dialects, if applicable for their state.
