CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024 for Physical Efficiency Test
The first and foremost stage of the CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024 shall be the physical efficiency test. Candidates have to clear a 5 Km run in 24 minutes to clear physical efficiency test.
CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024 for Physical Standard Test
Candidates who qualify Height Bar Test & PET (Run) will be screened for height, chest and weight by the Board of Officers. The second stage of the CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024 shall be a physical standard test. Here is the CISF Fireman Physical Standard Test requirements shared below.
i) Height – 170 Cms
ii) Chest – 80-85 Cms (Minimum expansion 5 Cms)
Permissible relaxation in Physical Standards for different categories of candidates are as follows:

CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024: Document Verification
Candidates declared successful in the PET/PST will be shortlisted for the document verification. Those who fail to carry the required documents/certificates will be eliminated from the recruitment process and no candidate will be allowed provisionally. The following documents are required for the verification are as follow:
- Matriculation & Senior Secondary Examination Certificates for the proof of date of birth, name and educational qualification.
- Domicile Certificate/ Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority
- Discharge Certificate & undertaking in the format prescribed in the notification.
- Caste Certificate (as applicable) in the format prescribed in the notification.
- Certificate from candidates who wish to avail relaxation in height/chest measurement as prescribed in the notification.
- Certificate from District Collector/ District Magistrate in respect of dependent applicants of riot victims as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Nativity/ Identity Certificate by West Pakistani Refugee in the format prescribed at notification.
- Two Passport-size Photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof.
CISF Fireman Selection Process 2024 for Written Exam
The third stage of the CISF Fireman selection process 2024 shall be a written exam. Check the exam pattern of the CISF Fireman written exam shared below for the reference of the candidates.
- The Written Examination will consist of one objective-type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
- All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice type.
- The CISF Fireman Written Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi languages under the OMR/Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode only.
- There shall be no negative marking.
- The minimum percentage of marks for qualification in the Written Examination/CBT for the next stage will be 35% for UR/EWS/Ex-SM and 33% for SC/ST/OBC.
